The vcd player we made for MP is made out of foam board. Foam board is like a sliver of foam sandwiched between 2 bristol boards. it's 0.5 cm thick and is super hard to cut through, especially when cutting circular shapes... :p

we actually had a choice of what to construct out of foam board - Monitors, CPUs, DVD/VCDs, keyboards, or fax machines. I, including most of the class, thought the dvd player was the easiest so a lot of us made dvds and vcds.. some made CPUs, one made a keyboard..

forgive me for showing this ugly vcd model of mine...hahaha! i didn't work on it too much cause i hate the material we used.. so darn expensive and so darn hard to work on!

since last thursday we weren't able to pass our rice cooker, i added a few small details to my rice cooker.. i still have one part lacking...the socket. buuuut i'm not planning to add it anymore ahahaha!
