wow! we had almost a week of vacation cause of typhoon glenda! haha! thanks gurl.. hahaha!
i went to school from wednesday to friday only; and last thursday morning classes were cancelled cause of some faculty union meeting chuva eklavu. classes resumed at 1, that time my class was model construction and descriptive geometry 'til 8pm. my mom brought me to school and we underwent
major traffic in almost all the roads we passed through! i got to school almost 45 minutes late cause of the traffic.. but luckily (and unluckily for my mom, who's birthday was that same day)
our professor got sick and couldn't make it to class! hahah! (he's the same prof for the next subject) he got sick! wee!! we still had time to finish and detail our rice cookers and finish our plans for the dvd player! yay! but a lot of matters to think about are yet still waiting to be solved.. *sigh!* thermos... d.geom... perspective... physics... urgh...!!
its a good thing yesterday i passed all the requirements for techniques! yay! got an average of hmm.. 94 for the 2 plates.. :) and eachay and i went to sir B for concept checking and finally i have 5 (6 even..) approved concepts for the thermos! wee! now all i have to think of are 3 for each kind.. :P <-- is that something to cheer about?
what else to blab about.. hmm... ah yes,
the accident.
last wednesday my dad asked me to drive the car to school. when we were approaching the bridge over gil puyat ave or popularly known as
buendia, there was a hole in the middle of the street and i thought i was going to be able to avoid it but i couldn't and i didn't! waa nalubak kami! and our front tire got busted and a crazy ass motorcycle behind me was thrown away, rolled on the side of the road and got hurt! it was so traumatizing!!!!!!!!! i saw what happened to the motorcycle (and the driver of course..) and that really made me cry! i was saying sorry to my dad the whole time while crying.. i didn't mean to hurt my dad's car and the other motorist. huhu! i'm so thankful my dad just let the people outside know that HE was driving and that he didnt see the hole on the road. my dad changed the tire himself and that crazy old man who was driving the motorcycle was blaming my dad for the accident! it
was an
accident! he was saying that we swerved to the left most lane thats why he got obstructed! we didn't swerve! i didn't swerve! and if ever i did, i could've avoided that stupid hole! but i didn't! i don't know how ended up rolling on the street.. i didn't even see him behind me before the accident.. he could've been tailgating or something..or maybe he wanted to overtake.. crazy motorcycles! but still..naawa ako sa kanya kasi nasugatan sya sa kamay.. :( but really
it wasn't my fault! well partly it was cause i wasn't able to avoid the hole, but the motorcycle's accident wasnt my fault!i went to class teary eyed and lacked thermos concepts.. hahaha! the accident surely raised my stress level. stress tabs for me please.. :P

after a week and a half's hard work, i've finally finished my rice cooker model! well... sort of... hahaha! i'm finished with the major parts like the cooker and the body and the cover but im not quite finished with the more intricate details... to hell with it! hahaha!!!
okay naman na diba?
now i can start completing my plan for it.. haha baligtad!

No classes in areas affected by 'Glenda'

(UPDATE) DUE to typhoon ”Glenda” (international name Kaemi), Malacanang has suspended classes at all levels in affected areas, including the National Capital Region (NCR), on Monday, July 24.
Upon the recommendation of the National Disaster Coordinating Council, Executive Secretary Eduardo Ermita has authorized the suspension of classes at all levels in the NCR, Pangasinan, Bataan, Zambales, Bulacan, Rizal, and Cavite, according to Press Secretary Ignacio Bunye.
Bunye said work in goverment offices in the NCR was also suspended, except in those offices performing health and protective services.

PRESIDENT Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo has announced the resumption of classes at all levels in Metro Manila, and in Regions 3 and 4 on Friday but said those in Regions 1 and 2 and at the Cordillera Administrative Region would remain suspended.
The President made the announcement Thursday during her visit at the National Disaster Coordinating Council (NDCC) in Camp Aguinaldo.
Classes in all levels were suspended in these areas following heavy rains caused by Tropical Storm “Florita.”
“Florita,” which became a typhoon as it headed towards Taiwan, left at least seven people dead and three missing.

tuesday to thursday straight, di ako umapak sa semento ng USTE!
last monday night, i went home sa house ng classmate ko all the way up in FARview! haha! super far talaga! we did our wood finishes project for MP and we had to do it in one place coz we were sharing the materials.. most of which came from jeng (my classmate from fairview). slumber party kami with varnish, lacquer paints, sanding sealers and of course jeng's adorable toy poodles! hehe! being greeted by 7 toy poodles, a labrador, and 3 as/spitzes (mixed breed ng askal at spitz haha!) is such a unique experience! hahaha si eylin nagulat eh! ang cute pa nila lahat! expecially oreo.. :) (ayan ha jeng si oreo, cute..) :P
the next morning, we left her house at around 8.. jeng and eylin was able to catch a ride at around 8:30 already, only 30 mins. left till p.e. time! as for joyce and i, a few minutes after, we decided to take the bus instead.. we really didn't know how to get home from north fairview! we left at around 8.30 and guess what time i got home...hmm.. around 11 na yata yun! haha! grabe, para ka na ring bumiyahe hanggang pampanga!
yesterday heavy rain poured down on metro manila.. actually the whole of luzon i think.. because of the storm "florita".. daming nagtetext, asking kung may pasok ba o wala.. but the tv didn't announce any suspension, so we still drove to school.. and ang ganda ng timing, when i was about to get off the car para pumasok sa ust, my fone rang. it was eachay, wala daw pasok, kaka announce lang, classes are supended. niiccee! so i went there to go home??? hahaha! i didn't want to commute so i stayed with dad.. first we went sa pandacan.. tpos sa mayon..we bought a webcam there.. then hinatid ako ni daddy sa lrt station.. ganon din, nagcommute din ako! hay.. sana pala bumaba na ko sa uste! tsktsk..
last night, czara texted, she said na walang pasok, inannounce daw sa dorm nila, so i guess official nga yun! hehehe! whoo!!
now everyone's askin kung may pasok pa tomorrw! txt spread out na wala daw.. all levels, nation-wide, public and private.
tell me now. may pasok ba bukas o wala?!?!?!
pero kahit na walang pasok ng ilang araw.. deadline ng rice cooker is still deadline. amp! pano ko kaya gagawin yun?!?!? waaa! nakakabaliw! heeelllppp!

i definitely need sleep.. the week's been really hectic and tiresome. since last tuesday, ive been sleeping for at least 3 hours every night (or morning?).. some of my classmates didn't even sleep last tuesday night! damn.. 1 plate = toxic. what more if there's MORE plates?!? damn.. damn..
yes we're done with the ballpen design, up next would be the eyeglass design.. looks easy to make but really, its going to be hard. i know it. think eyeglass+design+ergonomics+function+more. erm.. eyeglass na may mp3??? hahaha! good luck naman..
we also have a plate in MC.. its a model construction of a rice cooker.. we need to construct with actual dimensions using 4-ply bristol board. ughhh!! so hard!! its a good thing we have this old rice cooker that's workin anymore.. at least i get to make kal-kal the actual rice cooker before making a model. haha! sh*tness!
another thing i'm worried about is perspective.. putek ang hirap! nakakahilo! i'll try to research on perspective so i can be more well informed about the subject.. i know the method but i get confused as the points increase in number! nakakalito talaga..
isa pa din yung desriptive geometry.. hay i really can't get the fold line method! hahaha! im still confused.. but im okay with multiple auxillary views! i actually finished the exercise yesterday!! whohooo! i hope its right and i hope this time i get a passing grade for it..
hmmm.. more complaints? yeah, definitely.

i really need to stock up on lots and lots of short bond papers! and folders! and tracing papers! hahaha! LOTS AND LOTS.
and i really need to sleep already...hayy.. i love friday nights.. haha.. siguro ngyon lang!
